Beatrix Malone (Birdy) is an Australian Labradoodle with a heart of gold. Weighing in at 27 pounds of hypoallergenic love, she has a sweet temperament and thrives on soulful eye contact. 

Soft, calm, and emotionally intuitive, Birdy’s breed is specifically known and bred for service work—from working with autistic children to becoming caring therapy companions in hospital settings.

Birdy passed her AKC Good Canine Citizen certification at 12 months old. Almost 2 now, she is registered as an ESA and currently in training for public access to eventually become a certified psychiatric service dog.

You may find her around the office (she’s the adorable brown lump in the corner), and when she’s ready, she will be officially incorporated into Studio Saudade’s grief work in both group and individual sessions.
